David Farkas: CEO
David Farkas has over 20 years of experience in the wireless electronics industry in both the commercial and defense areas. Prior to co-founding Nxbeam Inc., David founded Active Wave Technology (AWT) which specializes in the development of custom millimeter wave circuit products focusing on GaN, InP, and GaAs technologies. Prior to AWT, David was Assistant Department Manager at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) responsible for developing high frequency integrated circuit products. David also held the position of Section Head within NGAS’s semiconductor foundry responsible for developing High Electron Mobility Transistor (HEMT) technology. Prior to NGAS, David was a Senior Design Engineer at Multilink Technology Corporation and Design Engineer at Hughes Space and Communications where he developed MMICs for optical and wireless communication systems. David earned his BSEE and MSEE degrees from The Ohio State University with emphasis on electromagnetics while working as a graduate research associate at the Electroscience Laboratory. David has over 15 technical publications.
Dr. JianQing He (“QJ”): COO
Dr. JianQing He has more than 25 year experience in the wireless communications field and holds 8 US patents. Prior to co-founding Nxbeam Inc., QJ founded Bravo Tech Inc (BTI) where he served as president & CEO for more than 10 years. During that time, he lead in the design and manufacturing of linear power amplifiers, RRUs, ultra power MCPA boosters and ultra-linear power amplifiers for DAS, DAS system products, Active Point of Interface, and small cells for wireless communications. QJ was also responsible for the company’s business development, technology roadmap, strategic directions, and overall organization development and management during that time. Before founding BTI, QJ was with Powerwave Technology as a senior principal engineer responsible for designing linear power amplifiers and other RF products. Prior to Powerwave Technology, QJ served as a technical staff engineer in the area of non-linear high efficiency power amplifiers at Hughes Aircraft Company. QJ received his MSEE and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and specialized in the areas of microwave, power amplifiers, and RF components.
Harry Stuimer: Strategic Planning
Harry Stuimer has more than 25 years of experience in designing high-end integrated circuits for the world’s leading-edge process technology nodes. Prior to working with Nxbeam, Harry was most recently the VP of Hardware Engineering for the Arm Server Processor team at Marvell Semiconductor, where he built a 200+ engineer design team across 3 work sites and drove the IC and platform development for the ThunderX product line. Prior to that role, Harry spent 20+ years at Sun/Oracle managing the silicon development, lab bring-up, and productization of numerous generations of high-performance SPARC microprocessors. Harry started his career working at Intel on x86 microprocessors after graduating with BSEE and MSEE degrees from Purdue University.
